| URD Cable was installed from each existing transformer to the next
in preparation for transformer replacement. Once all of the new
cable was installed, the new transformers were staged at the job and
installed. The process of transformer change-out necessitated
a short power outage for those customers serviced by the transformer
being replaced. A total of 47 transformers were affected by
this job. The job designations in the following schedule refer to the cable
between two transformers and the specific phase of the line that the
transformer will be powered from. For example, line 5 below refers
to the installation of Phase C cabling from transformer #12 to
transformer #13.
Cable installation will be accomplished using both directional boring
equipment and trenching equipment. |
